Just loking at several e-learning environments for my department. This is what I'm writing about Luminosity Studio: Very nice interface, templating is excellent, but cannot author new components to put on to templates, which is a major shortcoming.

Designing many templates consistently is a little awkward, because most of the positioning and sizing of page template components is a manual job, trying to draw them by the pixel. Lots easier to have some properties like width, height, top, left, etc. on template components in a simple dialog box.

Right now the navigation menu has an entry for each single page in a course. For long courses, this results in a long navigation menu. Hiding the page is not an option, because it will not bring the user to that page when navigating in a linear way. Having the possibility for a page not to create its own menu entry would solve this.

When I click the what's new in 2.8 there is a one liner. Beneath that is Versions 2.5 this returns - Page Not Found

Am just test driving the product. Is there a way to change the developer view so it is not a black background? Finding it a little difficult to work with
